HRG REGISTER FOR EVENT TERMS OF USE AND PRIVACY STATEMENT

This website is owned and operated by Hogg Robinson Nordic AB, acting on its own behalf and as agent for each HRG Affiliate, and is provided as part of the corporate event registration and management services that we have contracted to provide to Volvo AB whose event you are participating in.

These terms of use and privacy statement apply to your use of the site and the service made available through it (“Service”).In the event that any additional terms appear on the site in connection with any part of the Service, those additional terms shall supplement these terms of use in respect of that part of the Service only and shall take precedence in the event of any conflict or inconsistency.

If you do not agree to be bound by and comply with these Terms of Use and Privacy Statement please do not tick the box or use this site.

References in these terms of use to “you”, “your” or “yours” are to be taken as references to the site user and references to “us” or “we” are to be taken as references to HRG, except where stated or where the context requires otherwise.

TERMS OF USE

  1. SERVICE AND LIMITS ON USE
    The site and Service are provided to enable you to (as applicable): register for the Volvo AB corporate event (“Event”) and manage and update your registration; and/or receive information and communications in connection with the Event; and/or provide certain information (for example, accommodation preferences) which is then used by us (or amember of the HRG network) and/or Volvo AB in connection with the Event (for example, to make accommodation arrangements for you). All Services for the Event is provided on behalf of the Volvo AB. You may only use this site and the Service for the purposes set out in these terms of use and if and to the extent that you are expressly authorized to do so by or on behalf of Volvo AB. You may not use this site if you are a child unless consent is given by the child’s parent or custodian. You may not use this site or Service for personal gain and you may not sell or provide to any third party, or otherwise profit from, any services or information (nor any modification, adaptation or analysis of them) available on or through this site.
  2. ARRANGEMENTS FOR ACTIVITIES AND TRAVEL ACCOMMODATION
    Activities and/or travel, accommodation and/or other arrangements that are arranged for you by us or a member of the HRG network usually as agents for the relevant activities, airlines, hotels or other companies or other suppliers)following requests and/or data provided by you when using the site will be subject to separate contract terms (except for the applicable terms of the privacy policy) between you and/or Volvo AB and us and/or a network member and/or the relevant third party supplier (which may include cancellation or amendment charges and conditions of carriage which it is important that you read and understand) and will not be concluded through this site. We will contact you bythe specified means of communication to make any such arrangements.
  3. SECURITY
    PLEASE NOTE: You must keep your access details to this site strictly confidential and secure at all times–do not disclose them to anyone or allow anyone else to use them. We cannot be held responsible for any use made of this site and/or the Service as aresult of you not keeping your access details to this site secure and confidential. If you know or suspect that someone else knows your access details to this site and/or is making unauthorised use of this site, please contact us immediately by telephone or via this site’s Contact facility.
    We reserve the right from time to time to: (a) alter and/or introduce new and/or additional security measures; (b)temporarily withdraw and/or limit the availability of this site and/or the Service to any individual(s); and (c) do anything else that we believe necessary to preserve the security and integrity of this site and the information held in this site’s databases.
  4. ACCURACY & SITE CONTENT
    We use reasonable skill and care in compiling the information accessible on and through this site. However, certain information may have been compiled and/or provided to us by a third party. We do not accept responsibility for the accuracy of any information which is obtained from any such third party.   7. DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
    (a) Except as may be set out in these terms of use, the site, its content, and any use you choose to make of it, the Service and related information are provided and permitted without any representations or warranties of any kind,whether express or implied, and we disclaim all representations and warranties so far as permitted by law.     (b) Subject to paragraph (d) below, but otherwise so far as permitted by law, we exclude and are not liable for all loss,damage(s) and liability (whether or not caused by our negligence) for all wasted time, all loss/corruption of data, all loss of profits, opportunities and goodwill, and all indirect, consequential and punitive loss or damage(s) arising from or in relation to use of this site and/or the information on it or the Service, howsoever arising, whether in contract, tort(including negligence),statute or otherwise, and even if it was reasonably foreseeable or we have been made aware of the
    possibility of such loss/damage(s)/liability.

    (c) Subject to paragraph (d) below, but otherwise so far as permitted by law, our total aggregate liability hereunder in respect of direct loss and damage and other direct liability, howsoever arising, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statute or otherwise per claim or series of related claims, shall be limited to SEK 5,000 (five thousand Swedish Kronor).

    (d) Nothing in these terms of use shall limit or exclude our liability: (i) for loss or damage for death or personal injury caused by our negligence; or (ii) for any fraudulent misrepresentation made by us or those under our control; or (iii) to the extent that it cannot be otherwise lawfully excluded or limited.

    (e) We will not be liable for any failure in relation to the use of the site, the Service and the information available onand through the site if it arises out of circumstances beyond our control. This includes (but is not limited to) wars, civil commotion, hijacking, fire, flood, accident, storm, government intervention, strikes, lockouts, terrorist attacks, industrial action affecting us or our suppliers/service providers.

    (f) If you are using this site as a consumer then nothing in these terms of use shall in any way limit your statutory rights.
  8. SEVERABILITY
    If one or more of the provisions of these terms of use are at any time found to be invalid by a court, tribunal or otherforum of competent jurisdiction, or otherwise rendered unenforceable, that decision shall not invalidate or void theremainder of these terms of use. These terms of use shall be deemed amended by modifying or severing such provisions as necessary to render them valid, legal and enforceable while preserving their intent, or if that is not possible, by substituting another provision that isvalid, legal and enforceable which materially gives effect to their intent. Any invalid or unenforceable provision or provisions shall be severable from these terms of use so that the validity or enforceability of their remaining provisions or the validity of the provision(s) in question in any other jurisdiction shall not be affected.
  9. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
    These terms of use supersede all prior agreements, arrangements and statements (except for those for which liability is not excluded) between us with respect to your use of this site and the services provided on or through it and constitute the entire agreement between us relating to the same. Notwithstanding the foregoing and to the extent relevant and applicable, in the event that there is any conflict or inconsistency between these terms of use and an agreement we have made with Volvo AB in writing regarding the use of this site and the Service, that agreement will prevail to the extent of the conflict or inconsistency only.
  10. CHANGE OF TERMS OF USE
    We may alter, adapt or otherwise change these terms of use from time to time (for security, legal or regulatoryreasons, or to reflect updates or changes to the services or functionality of the site) without prior notice. Yourcontinued use of this siteor the Service, by ticking the “accept Terms of use and privacy statement” box, willconstitute acceptance of these amended terms of use and you should review them before making any further use ofthis site or the Service.

    These Terms of use and Privacy Statement shall not constitute or be deemed to constitute a partnership, joint venture or contract of employment between you and us. You may not assign, sub-license, sub-contract or otherwise transferor deal in any of your rights or obligations under these terms of use without our prior written consent. Headings in these Terms of Use and Privacy Statement are for convenience only and are not to be taken into account when construing these Terms of Use.
  13. TERMINATION
    In addition to our right to prevent you accessing this site and using the Service as set out in section 3 above, we reserve the right to block your access to this site and the Service if, in good faith, we believe that you have failed to comply with any of these Terms of use and Privacy Statement. In any event, you will not be permitted to use this site or the Service after our relationship with Volvo AB has expired or terminated for any reason.
  14. RIGHTS OF THIRD PARTIES
    No one other than you and us will have any right to enforce any term of these Terms of use and Privacy Statement,regardless of whether such person or entity has beenidentified by name, as a member of a class or as answering a particular description. For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in this clause shall affect the rights of any permitted assignee or transferee.
  15. GOVERNING LAW
    Use of this site and the Service is governed by Sweden. You irrevocably agree to submit any claim or dispute arising in relation to, out of, or in connection with this site to the one exclusive jurisdiction of the Sweden courts.

PRIVACY STATEMENT

Hogg Robinson Nordic AB is firmly committed to maintain appropriate protection of personal data. Hogg Robinson Nordic AB will only use, disclose and otherwise handle the information that is collected in connection with the Event on behalf of the Volvo AB and in accordance with applicable laws, these terms of use and this privacy statement. Volvo AB is the data controller with respect to the processing of your personal data in connection with the Event.This privacy statement tells you about the information gathering and dissemination practices for the Event and should help you understand how any personal information that is collected in connection with the Event will be used.

How your Personal Information is used
Your personal data that is submitted through this web site or provided by other means (including over the telephone or internet, in person, or in writing) will be processed for the purpose of administrating and organizing the Event. This May include that your personal data will be processed, both within and outside the European Economic Area, as required in order to:
(i) manage registrations and communications for the Event;

(ii) provide Services in relation to the Event, including transfer your personal data to airlines, hotels, global distribution and other reservation systems, car hire providers and other travel suppliers and corporate travel management companies;

(iii) provide any other services required by Volvo AB or you from time to time in connection with the Event;(iv) create, store and administer your traveller profile;

(v)manage the Volvo AB customer satisfaction surveys or other surveys;

(vi) enable the Volvo AB to fulfill its management information, data collection, expense management and travelmonitoring requirements from time to time;

(vii) comply with legal obligations and any applicable customs/immigration requirements relating to your travel. Forexample, to provide Advanced Passenger Information to airlines before you travel to or from the USA and certainother countries in order that the airline can pass this information to the relevant authorities;

(viii) comply with a request from a qualified government department;

(ix) provide your personal data to a business which the Volvo AB engages to provide you with any additional services;

(x) enable Hogg Robinson Nordic AB to provide the Services to the Volvo AB, which may include that your personaldata may be processed by HRG’s assignees, sub-contractors, and advisers from time to time and any successor business that assumes HRG’s obligations to provide the Services tothe Volvo AB.You must always provide accurate information and you agree to update it as necessary. You also agree that, in the absence of any update, it can be assumed that the information submitted is correct. Your personal data will not be used to send you marketing material unless you or Volvo AB (as applicable) have requested it and Hogg Robinson Nordic AB will not disclose your personal information to any third party except as may be requested from time to time by you and/or Volvo AB (as applicable) and as outlined in this privacy statement.Your personal data will be retained as long as it is necessary in order to administrating and organizing the Event or as long as required by laws, regulations or decisions by authorities.
